Gold Coast Surf Report

Gold Coast Surf Report on Swellcast.com.au

Looking for a modern, simple and easy to read surf report website? Well… you might be pleased to hear that we’ve just stumbled upon a new surf and wind forecast site named SwellCast.

The site has been developed by a web developer in Perth who is a keen surfer himself and just could not stand the boring looking weather and surf reports available on the net. We don’t blame him… it certainly was time for a change.

Swellcast currently features australian locations only and is planning to cover some international surfing spots  in the near future.

The swell data is updated every 6 hours and also includes live wind readings updated every 30 minutes, which is a pretty handy thing as we believe.

An iPhone and iPad App is also available which can be purchased on the iTunes website. The price currently is $1.99.

Another feature that will be added to the site is a customisable surf alert where you can set your specific conditions, like wind direction, swell hight & swell period and will receive an alert only when your conditions are met.

So, next time you are planning a trip to the Gold Coast and don’t konw what the surf will be like, check the Gold Coast surf report on Swellcast and know beforehand what to expect.

If you want to find out more about Swellcast and check the lastest surf reports, visit Swellcast.com.au.

As you might guess…we are big fans already. But what do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
