Since late last year, the world counts over one billion hungry people - the first time ever in the history of mankind that so many people are malnourished.
Two thirds of them are in Asia.
This situation is unacceptable in the 21st century.
The 1billionhungry project (1BH) is a movement to finally "blow the whistle" on hunger – letting the world know that enough is enough, and demanding an end to hunger. The project is designed to put pressure on world leaders, forcing them to give the hunger problem top priority.
